About Pooping Unicorn

A ridiculous build report, a free browser arcade, and a unicorn that refuses to behave.

Some projects are planned. Some are engineered. Some are presented at quarterly all-hands with a roadmap and a slide titled "synergy."

This is not one of those.

Pooping Unicorn was unleashed into the world after a questionable mix of music tools, AI models, late-night creativity, and at least one unanswered "wait, is this actually a good idea?"

It is a web game. It has its own theme song. It is a slightly unhinged dopamine loop wrapped in a rainbow-colored unicorn that absolutely refuses to behave.

The brief was simple: make something that sticks in your head longer than it should. Mission accomplished. Apologies in advance.

What went into this

A genuine mix of modern AI systems, dev platforms, and creative tooling — plus a healthy amount of "what if we just shipped this":

  • AI to brainstorm, write, and stress-test the "why is this actually fun?" question
  • Music + sound design tools to build the ridiculous audio identity
  • Web infrastructure for scale, deploys, and speed (so the chaos lands smoothly)
  • A meaningful amount of "okay one more tweak"

The result is a meme that accidentally became a product. We are not sorry.

What it is

  • A click / tap loop that does not respect your time
  • A reactive audio experience tuned for "did that just slap?"
  • A music-video-style progression system
  • A unicorn with one very specific, very persistent mechanic

You click. It reacts. It escalates. You question your choices. You click again.

Audio + feel

  • Cartoon absurdity meets "why does this slap?"
  • Catchy rhythmic loops that evolve with interaction
  • Electronic undertones with high-energy comedic timing
  • Engineered to live rent-free in your head (in a good way)

The goal was not realism. The goal was stickiness. The goal was you humming it tomorrow at a meeting and pretending you weren't.

Stack and tools

  • AI models for ideation, writing, and interactive design
  • Web deployment + hosting for speed and reliability
  • Music and audio generation tools
  • Modern dev workflows for fast iteration
  • Creative tooling for rapid prototyping
  • Caffeine
